소개

 

최근 들어 성체줄기세포를 활용한 퇴행성 뇌질환, 간경화, 뉴마티스 관절염 등과 같은 여러 난치성 질환에 대한 세포 치료 모델로 주목 받고 있음. 뿐만 아니라 본 연구실에서는 줄기세포의 분화 및 노화를 조절하는 표적 유전자를 발굴하여 체외에서 줄기세포의 기능을 조절하는데 기초 연구도 병행하고 있음.
